This weekend we went to Washington, DC for Kinzi's cheer competition. We spent Friday trying to see as much as possible. We went to the capitol, Washington Monument, Smithsonian, Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, and so much more. The kids wanted to see all the things from Night at the Museum so that took a while. Kinzi and I are in front of the Wright Brothers plane.
The best part of the weekend was Kinzi's team won first place out of 16 teams. We are so proud of them for working so hard.
If you have never been to DC you should definitely go and see all the history. Hopefully we will get to return one day to see more.
Last week I went to Naples with my wonderful friends Amy and C'ella. We had so much fun. We spent the day laying at the beach and eating at delicious restaurants in the evening. It was a great place to get away. Very quiet and relaxing. Now it is back to the real world in NJ.
