A Relaxing Weekend
This weekend I had the opportunity to go back for our annual girls trip. We went to Charleston and had such a wonderful time! The weather was perfect and it was so relaxing. We enjoyed eating good food, shopping on King Street, walking to The Battery, enjoying the breath-taking homes and churches, and eating on Shem Creek. It was so much fun and I am very grateful that I got to go back home to see all my wonderful friends in Charlotte. Can't wait to find out where we are going next year ladies!

Christmas Already???
Well, I tried to get a Christmas tree up tonight just for Carson. He is so ready for Christmas. Everyone around here decorates early. There are houses with lights lit up on the outside of the house. Everyone knows I love Christmas and to decorate early but I just haven't felt like it but I got it all out tonight and we got one tree up and Carson put his tree up and decorated it. He is so cute and is so eager for the holidays. I love having at least one child that still enjoys watching Christmas movies and wanting to decorate. I took a picture of him while he was sleeping with his tree next to his bed. He wouldn't be happy that I took it so don't tell him:)
I guess we should start thinking about Christmas cards.

Trail Ride at Mt. Pocono
The kids have been begging to go on a trail ride since this summer. The boys loved when we went in South Dakota and Kinzi had never been before. Today we drove to Mt. Pocono in PA and went on a 50 minute trail ride. It was very relaxing. We saw a deer and went through a couple of streams. I think my horse is ready to retire. He was very slow. Of course, Scott had to wear all his cowboy gear. He truly believes he is a rider. He was giving everyone tips and the lady asked him if he was a rider. He says used to be in rodeos. We all just laughed at him. It was a fun day.
