I'm so sad I didn't get to see my three cousins this Christmas. Between snow storms and illness it didn't work out but I wanted to let them know that I missed them and I hope we can get together soon. You will have to come visit me in New Jersey. Let's start making plans now! Miss you Bridget, Georgia, and Jessica! Merry Christmas and give the kids hugs and kisses.

Thanksgiving at Peppers Lake 09'
We had a great Thanksgiving this year. We were with Scott's family and my family at Pepper's Lake. It was really great to all be together. Cade shot his first duck with a band on it and the boys went fishing with Pepaw and Pa. Pa showed everyone up by being the only one to catch a fish but he put it back in and let the boy reel it in too.
Kinzi hung out with the girls Kaylee, Emma, and Sophia. It was great seeing them. The boys had fun playing with all their cousins and Alex got to go duck hunting with the boys for the first time. With 10 kids running around it's nice to say we had no serious accidents. Just wonderful memories. Hopefully we can all be together again next year!

A Relaxing Weekend
This weekend I had the opportunity to go back for our annual girls trip. We went to Charleston and had such a wonderful time! The weather was perfect and it was so relaxing. We enjoyed eating good food, shopping on King Street, walking to The Battery, enjoying the breath-taking homes and churches, and eating on Shem Creek. It was so much fun and I am very grateful that I got to go back home to see all my wonderful friends in Charlotte. Can't wait to find out where we are going next year ladies!

Christmas Already???
Well, I tried to get a Christmas tree up tonight just for Carson. He is so ready for Christmas. Everyone around here decorates early. There are houses with lights lit up on the outside of the house. Everyone knows I love Christmas and to decorate early but I just haven't felt like it but I got it all out tonight and we got one tree up and Carson put his tree up and decorated it. He is so cute and is so eager for the holidays. I love having at least one child that still enjoys watching Christmas movies and wanting to decorate. I took a picture of him while he was sleeping with his tree next to his bed. He wouldn't be happy that I took it so don't tell him:)
I guess we should start thinking about Christmas cards.

Trail Ride at Mt. Pocono
The kids have been begging to go on a trail ride since this summer. The boys loved when we went in South Dakota and Kinzi had never been before. Today we drove to Mt. Pocono in PA and went on a 50 minute trail ride. It was very relaxing. We saw a deer and went through a couple of streams. I think my horse is ready to retire. He was very slow. Of course, Scott had to wear all his cowboy gear. He truly believes he is a rider. He was giving everyone tips and the lady asked him if he was a rider. He says used to be in rodeos. We all just laughed at him. It was a fun day.

Autumn in Central Park
We went to the city this weekend to visit some of Kinzi's friends. Saturday it rained all day and all night as you can see from the boys hair. They are standing in front of the ice rink at Rockefeller Center. The next day was beautiful. We through Central Park and their were already people ice skating. I couldn't believe it! Of course, they boys begged and begged to ice skate but we did not have time. We will have to go back. I can't tell you how beautiful it is here in the fall. I never would have imagined how pretty the colors are. The trees are so colorful and I am trying to enjoy every bit of it because I know in a few weeks the leaves will be gone and winter will be here and not leave for a while.
